I'm sure you are all familiar with the tv and movie stunt where a loved one is in a coma for weeks, months, years, etc. and then suddenly wakes up. Right? Well, that's kind of what happened to my blog. The main difference is that in the movie or tv show, when the person wakes up their reaction is one of confusion and bewilderment, kind of like, "Woah! Where am I and what happened?" And then all the loving family members and friends describe all the exciting events that our poor coma-victim missed. However, in my blog's case, I get to fill YOU in on all the exciting events that have occurred over the past year and a half.
On that note, here is the quick re-cap, starting from the Thanksgiving mentioned in my previous post: I met my love, I dated my love, I got engaged to my love and I am now happily married to my love.
The sad and unfortunate side of my blog-coma story is that all of the details that would make my re-cap much more interesting and engaging are lost due to my terrible lack of memory. I am very grateful and appreciative of everything my parents, sisters, friends, and others did to make it all happen and to insure that my wedding day was as wonderful and fabulous as it was. I am so glad that you were all there and I love you all very much. I want that stated publicly and I hope I expressed it to you all in private as well.
I don't want to overwhelm a recently recovered blog-coma victim (meaning me) so I will leave it at that for now. I'll post some pictures and I intend to be more regular in my posts from now on. Hmm, isn't there some quote about good intentions paving a road somewhere...? :)
